Traineeships
Students of Finnish language and culture can learn about Finnish society and work through the Suomea Suomessa (Finnish in Finland) training programme. The training takes place at Finnish work places or in Finnish families and lasts up to six months.
A student cannot take part both in a summer course in Finnish language and culture and Suomea Suomessa training during the same year.
Scholarships
MA level students of Finnish language and culture can apply for a scholarship from CIMO for advanced studies in a Finnish university. Before applying for a scholarship, the student should contact a Finnish host university to request for a right to study there. The scholarships are available for one academic term.
Alumni activities
Alumni activities are arranged for foreign university graduates who have studied the Finnish language and culture and for students at the final stages of their studies. The alumni have their own electronic mailing list suomi-alumnit.
