Junior Professional Officers (JPO) 3/2013 extended application deadline for UNESCO and IFAD
General qualifications for all posts:

The applicant should have Master's degree and at least two years of relevant working experience.
- The applicant should be fluent in English, and have knowledge of another official UN language.
- Due to the training aspects of the JPO/APO programme the applicant should be no more than 32 years of age.
- The applicant should have Finnish citizenship (if dual citizenship, applicants with Finnish and U.S. citizenship can´t apply for the posts at The World Bank)
Closing time for all posts is 4.15 pm on May 22nd, 2013.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in the area of cultural or natural heritage conservation, Biology or other Environmental matters; social and human sciences such as Geography; international relations and cooperation for development

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience; overall familiarity with conservation and management projects related to natural heritage; experience related to Africa would be advantageous.

Analytical skills to examine material, prepare and process documents for statutory meetings
